While no longer part of the day to day operations, Terry is still an intricate part of the agencies focus and business model. A true visionary entrepreneur, Terry (Tee) M. Shaw, holds his license in brokering employee benefits and is a savvy financial advisor. Tee started an employee benefits firm, Insurance Brokers of Georgia, Inc., in March 1986. From the ground up, Tee has been able to establish a well-respected agency servicing small businesses for more than 30 years.
Tee is an active member of Athens Church in Athens, Georgia, and UGA Silver Dawgs Hospitality Group.
As an active real estate licensed agent, his skilled knowledge in lake property investments led him to Lane Realty, Lake Sinclair. Tee attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and is honored to have the title of Dad to two bright, successful daughters and husband to his beautiful wife and partner, Wanda. He also goes by Papa to 5 grandsons.

Wanda Shaw is a seasoned employee benefits broker, licensed for more than 30 years. She recently received the highest recognition from The National Association of Health Underwriters – Circle of Excellence, Soaring Eagle. This honor places Wanda in the top 1% of Health Insurance Agents in the nation.
She attends the National Association Capitol Conference in Washington D.C. each year where she meets with members of Congress and the Senate on behalf of her clients and industry.
Her extensive knowledge and skilled understanding of insurance law, life and disability, medical and employee benefits makes her an invaluable asset to both employee and employer.

She is honored to have two bright, successful daughters and is affectionately called “Gogam” by 5 grandsons.

Sandyn has been a licensed insurance agent since 2008. As the daughter to the founders of Insurance Brokers of Georgia, Inc., Sandyn grew up in the family business and developed an early love and passion for helping employers and employees succeed in finding the best possible benefit solutions for the groups as a whole and the individuals at the heart of each. Skilled in sales management, public speaking, and marketing with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Sandyn spent the early years of employment working part time and remotely from VA and TX but is thrilled to be back working locally from the Athens, Ga office on a more regular basis as of August 2019.
Strong sales professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused in Marketing from The University of Georgia. Currently working on obtaining certifications with the National Association of Health Underwriters.
In her limited free time, Sandyn enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She loves playing tennis, cheering on The Dawgs and lake life with the family.

Wendy has been with Insurance Brokers of Georgia, Inc. since the start of the agency. She obtained her insurance license in 1996. After a brief time away from the agency in 1999, she returned as the Senior Account Executive.
Wendy’s experience with the insurance carriers we represent and long-term relationships with clients and providers alike, helps provide a strong position of knowledge and expertise to address daily responsibilities with extreme competence and dedication.
Her relationship with our clients on both a professional and personal level shows the heart of IBG, relational equity and trust that matters.
A member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, she participates regularly in the South Atlanta Chapter. Wendy has the designation of certified self-funded professional.

Roberta joined Insurance Broker of Georgia in January of 2015. She brings 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. An accomplished executive with progressive contributions to business development, corporate communications, process improvement and effective management.
She is a Licensed agent and is in the process of obtaining other certifications with the National Association of Health Underwriters.
Prior to IBG, Roberta was employed as the Human Resources Coordinator for Carters/Oshkosh as the liaison between staffing vendors and Carters serving over 800 employees.
Roberta is the Director of Client Services at Insurance Brokers of Georgia, Inc. and is one of the anchors of the Griffin office. She plays an integral part in managing Client and Employee benefits thus making the process as smooth and possible and creating better relationships.
A devoted servant of God, wife, mother and a philanthropist in her community. Roberta is multi-faceted in her talents and hails from the Island of Trinidad & Tobago, a twin island republic in the Caribbean.

Cal joined Insurance Brokers of Georgia in the summer of 2018 managing online operations. After 17 years as CFO and IT Administrator of an online technology firm, Cal brings strong administrative and organizational skills as well as innovative leadership to the agency.
With a passion for helping people, Cal is eager to assist in finding the best benefit solutions for the clients of IBG. Cal is currently in process of obtaining his Insurance License as well as other certifications with the National Association of Health Underwriters.
A devoted family man that loves nothing more than spending time with his wife, and children. In his limited spare time, Cal loves the Georgia Bulldogs and a good slice of pizza.
